lyrics

The winter's coming and I've been searching for something,
To take me away or keep me warm on the days like this,
When the rainy weather reflects everything I feel and,
The sight of the dark clouds take away the strength I have left to stand

Some people thrive when they are up against the ropes,
But there are days where I think I'd rather get knocked out
'Cause we just need a reason to pick ourselves up for another round,
But it's easier said than done when my face is buried in the ground,

So I’ll turn away from this window,
but the raindrops stain my vision,
I look in the mirror and I just know, this definitely isn’t,
Who I thought I’d be, can I start again?
Sometimes I wish this didn’t mean so much to me
But I think it’ll save me in the end,

I think it’s one of those things where I want to change,
but don’t care enough to try,
I’d rather let the rain dampen all my spirits
I know it’s not good enough,
this’ll see me kiss all happiness goodbye,
After all the lectures I’d give on not giving up,
I think it’s time I get mine,

So I’ll turn away from this window, but the raindrops stain my vision,
I look in the mirror and I just know, this definitely isn’t,
Who I thought I’d be, can I start again?
Sometimes I wish this didn’t mean so much to me,
But I think it’ll save me in the end,
